Rehearse for Hours

We took advantage of the fact that most our cast is in drama and they had to stay late for something taking place that afternoon. So we regrouped and showed them our test footage. They understood what their role was and went over it a few times. We discussed with them their cues which they practice repeatedly. We used our courtyard for the beach and reenacted the entire film. We also improvised with our hands where the camera would be positioned and how they should stand. It was very beneficial to have a rehearsal so that when we actually got to the beach everyone knew exactly what it was they were doing and when. We hustled!
