We decided that we didn’t want to have makeup on our actors and actresses. We wanted our actors to feel free to paint their face however they saw their character fit. For instance, Diana wore a very cute pinkish lip gloss which I thought gave her character a more innocent and kind look. She is supposed to stand out, not only to Otis, but to the audience. She curled her hair and wore very large and retro looking glasses. We gave her a little bit of eye shadow to make her blue eyes pop a little bit more. She purposely stands out from the rest of the neutral characters in the scene with her hair, make up and wardrobe.
