Flaunting Fonts

This first movie is Teen Beach Movie. This font is large and loud as well as adding quirkiness to the theme of beach party. It is perfect to create a mood of party and excitement.

This movie is a little bit older, but still consists of vibrant colors and a creative font. Therefore it applies to our movie. I like this font because of how the letters are shaped. They are constructed to look as though they are surfing with the characters on the poster. It’s a cute way to hint at the theme and tone of the movie, quirky and giddy.

This movie has the font and color of a vibrant 80s movie. It can definitely foreshadow the theme of the movie. This font looks very Hawaiian which I enjoy to because usually people associate beach with tikis and Hawaii. I also enjoy the wiggly lines under it to because it makes the font and style pop out more so we might do that with out title and font.

Considered Fonts:

Tropical Asian Font – I think this is a laid back font that could definitely add some aesthetic and enthusiasm to our movie introduction. It looks natural as though someone wrote it with paint which i appreciate because it can seem as though one of the characters wrote it or something.

Mf Sippin on Sunshine – The fact that this font is shaded in with color adds a youthful aspect to it. It would look very nice with a shaded pink since this is also a love story apart from the beach party. This font reminds me of teenagers. I associate it with a teenager waiting for summer to come and scribbling on his notepad.

Hanalei – This is a cute font because it fits the theme of beach party. It would be a nice simple fit for our love story on the beach. Th won’t thong I don’t like about this font however is that it’s too close to Hawaii and our film is set in Miami so I wouldn’t want people to think the film is set in Hawaii.
