A title sequence is a method that television uses to present their title, cast members, and key productions by using different unique visuals and sounds. For example, a title sequence that I’ve seen often is the one for the movie “Star Wars”. The words Star and Wars roses from the screen making it seem super galactic capturing the audiences attention quickly. As I researched I came across two title sequences that caught my eye and I felt could related to how I want my title sequence to look like. The first title sequence was from the movie “40 days and 40 Nights”. This title sequence fits the style of my groups movie because it has bright colors and tells a story through its intro. The vibe we want for our title sequence is one that is fun and upbeat. The title sequence for “40 Days and 40 Nights” gives off that same feeling. Another example would be the title sequence for “Chariots of Fire”. In this title sequence there are characters running on the beach. The beach is the opening location for our movie so it was interesting seeing a title sequence that included a beach in it. This website was very useful do to its variety of examples and genres. It demonstrated how to incorporate genres and title sequences all at once emphasizing unique ways to creating a title sequence.
